01
Lost/Stolen Mobile Phone Inquiry

A service that allows users to check whether a mobile phone has been reported lost or stolen by entering the device’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) on the website.

Flowchart of the lost device IMEI integrated management service. When a user (with a self-supplied device, second-hand phone, etc.) requests a device USIM replacement from a carrier in Step 1, the carrier requests a lost or stolen information inquiry from the KAIT IMEI Integrated Management Center in Step 2. The IMEI Integrated Management Center provides the lost or stolen inquiry result to the carrier in Step 3, and the carrier notifies the user in Step 4 whether telecommunications service will be applied to the device (Y: approved, N: rejected). The IMEI Integrated Management Center exchanges lost device IMEI information registration and release bidirectionally with SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+.
02
Service Charge Discount Inquiry

A service that allows users to check eligibility for the 25% service charge discount available instead of the device subsidy, applicable to SIM-free mobile phones purchased directly in Korea or overseas.

Flowchart of the device support fund verification service. When a user (with a self-supplied device, second-hand phone, etc.) requests a rate discount inquiry from the KAIT Device Support Fund Verification System in Step 1, the system requests rate discount confirmation from the mobile carriers (SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+) in Step 2, receives the rate discount result in Step 3, and notifies the user in Step 4 whether a rate discount is available (Y: available, N: unavailable).
